The staff team at the nursery include qualified nursery practitioners (B.A/Foundation Degree/ Early years Professional Status, N.N.E.B./ NVQ2/ NVQ3/ BTEC/ DCE, other) .

We also have students and trainee nursery nurses from time to time. All staff and trainees are subject to Ofsted and CRB checks. All our staff have completed a two day First Aid course which is regularly updated as well as other courses such as Safeguarding, Behaviour management, Special Educational Needs, Maths, Language & literacy.

At the nursery we operate a system of key groups. This means that each child is allocated a key worker (a member of staff) who is responsible for observing and recording progress, dealing with any problems that may arise, and catering for any special needs. This does not mean that other staff are not involved with your child, as everybody spends time daily with each other. Key groups represent a focal point for your child and ensures that nobody is left out. Parents are encouraged to discuss their child’s progress daily and at a Saturday Parents morning twice per year. You can book a meeting at any time to speak to staff.
